ClubGRANTS Supporting Our Local Community

What is ClubGRANTS?

ClubGRANTS is a community funding program that provides essential financial support to local organisations and projects, helping them address key issues and improve the quality of life within the community. Funded by registered clubs, the program focuses on a broad range of initiatives, including health services, education, social welfare, and cultural activities. By directing resources to these areas, ClubGRANTS ensures that vital programs and services can continue to operate, reach more people, and have a lasting impact.

Beyond just providing financial aid, ClubGRANTS plays a crucial role in fostering community spirit and development. The program supports projects that tackle pressing local challenges, such as mental health, youth services, and social inclusion, while also promoting cultural and recreational activities that enrich community life. Through this funding, clubs demonstrate their commitment to giving back, investing in the future of their communities, and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from local initiatives.

Panthers proudly adheres to the ClubGRANTS scheme created by ClubsNSW. ClubGRANTS funding is separated into 2 categories:

 

Category 1 – Funds donated by Panthers North Richmond

Category one aims to aid organisations that work with community welfare, social services and/or community development. This category also includes community health services, and employment assistance activities. The organisations chosen for category one will receive direct funds donated from Panthers North Richmond of an amount decided by the ClubGRANTS committee based on, the organisations application and needs.

Applications for Category 1 grants open on  the 1st of February and close on the 31st of May-

Category 2 – In-kind donated by Panthers North Richmond

Category two aims to aid other community development and support services not eligible for category one or outside the opening times of the category one funding round. Organisations chosen for category two could receive a range of different donations from Panthers North Richmond, depending on their specific circumstances. Details of the project and how the project is to be delivered to the North Richmond LGA is to be included in the application (Please ensure that criteria is met prior to application).
In-kind

Possible donations include the waiving of room hire for events or gatherings, and the supply of various items (such as jerseys / vouchers) as donations to the organisation.

Cash donations for projects to be delivered in the North Richmond LGA.

Who can apply for ClubGRANTS?

The program is for local projects and services that assist people within the North Richmond LGA and community. Funded projects must be in the areas of:

  • Community welfare and social services
  • Community development/engagement
  • Community health services
  • Employment assistance activities (including social enterprises)
  • Sporting Organisations (Category 2 only)

 

Requests that cannot be considered

  • Organisations outside of the North Richmond local government area
  • If you have already received a donation, or sponsorship within the same donation year (September to August)
  • Those who have already received a donation or sponsorship from Panthers Rugby League office
  • Individual causes (sporting, health etc.)

If you think you meet the requested criteria, please submit your request for donations/sponsorship on company letterhead.

Requests are reviewed monthly by the ClubGRANTS committee. 

Panthers North Richmond is proud to support the local community by sponsoring schools,  sporting clubs and organisations in the 24/25 ClubGRANTS round. 

 

Category 1

Pink Finss – to assist in continuing support of women, men and their families diagnosed with cancer.

Kingsford Smith Retirement Village –  to assist in the upgrade of machinery for “The Shed”.

Merana Aboriginal Community Association for the Hawkesbury Inc – to assist programs that will offer sport classes to children aged from 2 up to 12 years.
